Miss Teem made her German stage debut in Theater Luebeck's acclaimed production of Die Walkuere as Bruennhilde in 2008. Then covered the role of Bruennhilde in Spring of 2009 in Die Walkuere and Siegfried at the Metropolitan Opera in New York City. She followed this with her debuts as Bruennhilde in both Siegfried in 2009 and Goetterdaemmerung in 2010, as well as her debut as Turandot in June of 2010 at Theater Luebeck.

In upcoming seasons Rebecca Teem can be seen and heard in the roles of Gerhilde in Die Walkuere, The Mother in Haensel und Gretel, and as Fata Morgana in ,L a'mour des trois Oranges", at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, and in the title role of Turandot Summer 2011 in with Theater Braunschweig.
Born in Marietta Georgia, Miss Teem attended Kennesaw State University, and graduated with her MUBA in Voice. She performed in the surrounding area in Alabama and North Carolina at the Brevard Music Festival.
After moving to New York in 2001 she performed with local artist performing organizations, like New York Opera Forum, in concert versions, the title roles of Tosca, Aida and Elektra. She sang for the Emerging Artist Program of Washington DC, Wagner Society under the artistic director Evelyn Lear in concerts at the German and Austrian Embasys, and the University of Maryland.
